This policy explains how personal data is handled when you visit movi.ae (“this website”), which introduces Movi and invites people to share their experience of buying, selling or working in property.

Scope

This policy covers this website only: browsing it, the forms on it, booking a conversation through it, and emails you exchange with us as a result. Data we collect

When you complete a form

The forms for buyers, sellers and agents ask for your name and email address, and optionally a mobile number. The agents’ form also asks for your job title, agency name and how you would like us to reply. Each form then asks a few questions about your experience, and anything you choose to write in answer is collected too. We also record that you gave your consent, and when.

We do not ask for financial details, property documents or proof of identity, and we ask you not to include them.

When you book a conversation

If you choose to book a private preview, the booking takes place in a window provided by Calendly, which collects the name, email address and any details you enter so the appointment can be arranged.

When you email us

If you write to us, we keep your email address, your message and our reply.

When you browse

Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to keep the website running and secure. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics also records which pages you visit and how you arrived, which we see only as totals. The Cookies section below explains more.

How we use your data

• To read and reply to what you send us, by the method you asked for.
• To understand what people need from a better property experience, using the answers you give.
• Where you have agreed to it on the form, to contact you about relevant research or feedback conversations.
• To send you an email confirming that your form was received.
• To arrange and hold any conversation you book.
• To protect the forms from spam and automated abuse, and to keep the website secure.
• If you accept analytics, to understand how the website is used so we can improve it.

Sharing your experience through this website creates no obligation to buy, sell or take part in anything further, and we do not use your data for automated decisions about you.

Our legal bases

Consent: for the information you send through a form, for contacting you about research or feedback where you have agreed to it, and for Google Analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

Legitimate interests: for replying to emails you send us, for arranging a conversation you have booked, and for spam prevention and security, including reCAPTCHA and our hosting provider’s request logs.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use advertising trackers. We share data only with the following service providers, each acting on our behalf:

The forms on this website are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which sets a third-party cookie and collects device and browser information solely to tell real visitors from automated ones. It is not used for advertising or analytics. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your data.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be shown on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
